Undergraduate Researcher Joins the Lab

Summer is one of the best opportunities for undergraduate students to become heavily involved in research. With more flexible summer schedules, motivated students can start to take on larger and more demanding responsibilities within the lab. We are very excited to welcome a new undergraduate student to our lab this summer.

Alex Li started with our lab in mid-June and is already elbows deep in a collaboration with another McArdle lab. She will be a second year student at the University of Wisconsin-Madison this upcoming fall and is studying Biomedical Engineering. Alex shared her thoughts on joining the lab:

I’m excited to join the lab. It’s a great opportunity for me to learn the techniques and concepts related to cloning. Also, I really appreciate the friendly and inspiring environment in here.
