Collaborative study leading by the Fukagawa Lab at Osaka University, Japan, is now published in Science Advances! This work combines super-resolution microscopy (3D-ExM) and molecular dynamics (MD) simulations to reveal the structures and dynamics of CCAN in chicken DT40 cells.
Shota, a MD student, joined as a visiting scholar from Tohoku University. He will work kinetochore research until late January 2027.

Yu-Chia successfully obtained his Ph.D. During his time in a PhD student (< 5 years), he published 3 (co-)first author papers and 5 co-author papers. He will begin his postdoc in Dr. Adrian Saurin Lab in September.

Congratulations to Kaelyn Stephenson on receiving multiple Ph.D. program offers from prestigious schools and accepting an offer from the University of Pennsylvania. She will start her Ph.D. program in Fall 2026.
